Services Offered

Individual psychotherapy involves ongoing hourly sessions that are scheduled either weekly or bi-weekly, depending on the need. The therapeutic process can last anywhere between a few weeks to years and is informed by the presenting problem, desire to continue therapy and resources. This service is offered both online and in-person.

Play therapy, usually considered for children below the age of 14, utilises play, children’s natural medium of communication, to help them express, process and resolve their thoughts, feelings, experiences and behaviours in a manner that optimises growth and development. The therapist’s role is to assess, observe and intervene to help the child. As part of the play therapy process, it is essential that the child’s caregivers engage with the therapist to gain feedback and assistance in understanding any issues the child may be facing and to provide optimal support to the child.
