HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
You can book an appointment by contacting me directly either via the website, email or WhatsApp. I will send you forms to read and complete before our first session.
HOW DO I KNOW IF YOU’RE THE RIGHT PSYCHOLOGIST FOR ME?
The only way to know for sure is to come in for a session. If it doesn’t feel like the right fit for you, I can refer you to other colleagues that may be better suited.
HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?
Therapy is a tailor-made process and the total duration of treatment will depend on the presenting complaint, persons involved, aims and goals of treatment. It is impossible to predict exactly how many sessions a client will need, but most therapists work on a 12 – 16 session basis.
OK, I’VE BOOKED A SESSION. WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
After discussing the contract and confidentiality, the first session will be spent exploring working together, your goals and expectations of therapy, and any anxieties you may have about the process. It is important that you feel comfortable with your therapist so as to develop a strong and safe therapeutic relationship.
ARE YOUR SERVICES OFFERED ONLINE?
Therapy services are offered online. You will need a smartphone, laptop or computer with a camera and microphone; a secure Wi-Fi connection; and a safe space where you can have an uninterrupted, confidential conversation with me.
HOW LONG ARE SESSIONS?
Individual therapy sessions are 50 – 55 minutes long.
